The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club All-Stars Program recognizes skaters who have demonstrated excellence in academics. Skaters who qualify for this recognition will have their names posted at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena and their names listed in our Club Newsletter and on our Web Site. If a skater meets the qualifying criteria for both the first and third quarters, they receive an All-Star recognition pin.
To be recognized as a Scholastic All-Star in an academic term, the skater must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in the third or higher grade.
- Have at least the equivalent of a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 point scale, OR be recognized by their school on their honor roll.
Applications must be submitted by December 1 for the first quarter and by May 1 for the third quarter. Completed applications must be returned to the Farmington Hills Figure Skating mailbox behind the information counter at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena.
